I have been a veterinarian for more than 20 years and I love what I do! I enjoy making connections, building relationships and strengthening the human-animal bond.
I graduated with honors from the University of Miami with a BS in biology, and then from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing small animal medicine in Athens, GA for 14 years, my family and I relocated to the Lowcountry of South Carolina where I continued to work in private practice. I became a Fear Free Certified Professional in 2020 and have achieved Elite status. I am excited to offer concierge house call veterinary services to the communities of Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island and Daniel Island!
Hi! I’m Dr. Sherri Turick.
I have always been surrounded by dogs and cats, as my mother took in homeless strays that needed care. I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian as helping animals live their happiest, healthiest lives is my passion. While working in a Fear Free practice, I learned how to effectively reduce a patient's stress and anxiety through different approaches and techniques. Being able to care for a pet in their own home reduces that stress even further, and allows for a unique experience and comfortable visit. I have keen interests in pain management, senior pet issues, dermatology and the socialization of puppies and kittens.
I am grateful for all the support I have from my family and friends. In my spare time, I enjoy walking on the beach, yoga, baking, and exploring the beautiful nature the Lowcountry has to offer. I am thrilled to contribute to this wonderful community!
